Return to work, vocational rehabilitation and job retention

As part of the expert evidence, we consider realistic return-to-work prospects, job retention and the support or adjustments that may affect sustainable employment. Our knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, including statutory and other services available to help people return to or retain employment, can help inform our opinion and assist the Court in understanding the vocational support that may be available.

Some instructions concern what happened in the workplace rather than injury alone. We provide occupational psychology evidence on matters including recruitment and selection, promotion, performance management, reasonable adjustments, workplace stress, neurodivergence and alleged bullying or inappropriate workplace behaviour.

Our work may involve detailed examination of records, policies, communications and other evidence, alongside consideration of the organisational and interpersonal context. We provide independent occupational psychology opinion on the employment, behavioural and organisational issues relevant to the dispute. Questions of legal liability are for the Court or Tribunal, and medical or clinical issues are addressed by the appropriate clinical experts.

Your evidence was crucial in establishing realistic starting points during discussions. We appreciate your clarity and professionalism throughout.
