Employment disputes can raise questions about recruitment, promotion, performance, workplace behaviour, reasonable adjustments and the treatment of employees with disability or neurodivergence. Some cases also involve allegations of bullying, workplace stress or inappropriate management behaviour.
Occupational psychology can provide an independent perspective on the person, the workplace and the organisational processes involved. We may examine records, policies, communications and assessment procedures alongside the wider context. Our role is to provide independent occupational psychology evidence on the employment implications of the behavioural and organisational issues relevant to the dispute. Questions of legal liability are for the Court or Tribunal, and any medical or clinical issues are addressed by the appropriate clinical experts.
