Mental health difficulties can affect employment through concentration, confidence, motivation, interpersonal functioning, tolerance of pressure and the ability to cope with particular environments or demands.
We do not undertake psychiatric or clinical psychological assessment. We rely on the appropriate clinical evidence when considering the employment and vocational implications of mental health difficulties.
Our role is to consider how the difficulties identified in that evidence may affect the individual’s work and career. This may include return to work, reasonable adjustments, vocational rehabilitation and the sustainability of alternative employment.
